LTER Committee Meeting | The 2008 LTER IM meeting will be held in Albuquerque, NM in conjunction with a conference on Environmental Information Management. Both Wade Sheldon and John Carpenter will be attending the meeting and conference so GCE IM staff will be unavailable during this week. Research Cruise | Daniel Saucedo and Jacob Shalack will conduct a 3 day, 6 leg cruise of the GCE study domain, encompassing the three adjacent sounds (Altamaha, Doboy, Sapelo). We will be using the R/V Salty Dawg to sample surface and bottom water at 11 different sites during both high and low tides. Processing will be conducted on Sapelo by Daniel between deployments.
