LTER Committee Meeting The 2008 LTER IM meeting will be held in Albuquerque, NM in conjunction with a conference on Environmental Information Management. Both Wade Sheldon and John Carpenter will be attending the meeting and conference so GCE IM staff will be unavailable during this week. Please contact Wade Sheldon via email (sheldon@uga.edu) if you notice any problems with the real-time data or other web pages.

Research Cruise Daniel Saucedo and Jacob Shalack will conduct a 3 day, 6 leg cruise of the GCE study domain, encompassing the three adjacent sounds (Altamaha, Doboy, Sapelo). We will be using the R/V Salty Dawg to sample surface and bottom water at 11 different sites during both high and low tides. Processing will be conducted on Sapelo by Daniel between deployments. Daniel will then drive samples to the Joye lab at Univ. GA, Athens.
