Flume Dock Climate Station

separator

The Flume Dock station is located near the Moses Hammock Hunt Camp on western Sapelo Island within the GCE10 sampling area.  This station has been operated by the University of Georgia Marine Institute since 1986.  From 1995-2000 funding was also provided by the Sapelo Island National Estuarine Research Reserve program (SINERR), and data from this period can be obtained from the NERR Centralized Data Management Office.

Data from this station will be provided to the GCE LTER through a cooperative agreement with UGAMI and SINERR.  Information, maps, and UGAMI data request forms are also available at the UGAMI Environmental Monitoring web site.
